Your day-in-the-life
You arrive on an early shift, walk the floor, and complete safety checks before machines spin up. Preventive maintenance is your first stop—lubrications, inspections, calibrations—keeping production humming. A line throws a fault; you diagnose quickly, tracing it through a control panel to a sensor issue and return the system to service. You document work, coordinate with production to minimize downtime, and share what you found with the team. Later, you coach a newer technician on LOTO best practices. Before you leave, you update maintenance logs and align tomorrow’s PM route. That’s a typical day for our Maintenance Technician I/II in an industrial environment.
