Shift

  • *Off shift work may be required based on escalated need

Wage:

  • BOE | $100 - $120k

** Position Summary**

Responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment and improving our business results. The individual will be responsible for leading maintenance department, fully implementing existing computerized maintenance system, overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing maintenance process and executing long-term strategic plans.

Essential Duties and Tasks

  • Safety First Leading: Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Holds all crews accountable for working safely and ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures.

  • ISO Compliance: Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.

  • **Lead and Build: ** Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees in the maintenance department to minimize backlog.

  • **Troubleshooting: ** of process and quality issues related to related to equipment, materials, and customer requirements, working closely with production personnel, product development engineers and management team.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Implements solutions to the root cause of problems, and follows up with affected personnel regarding any process, quality, product, or equipment changes.

  • Preventative Maintenance: Lead, development and implement of an effective preventive maintenance program proactively addressing equipment issues. Ensure efficient repair schedules and repair cost estimates to include preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.

  • Work order / Repair Management: Prioritize maintenance and repairs of company equipment and parts to minimize equipment downtime and maximize efficiency.

  • Inventory Oversight: Maintain effective parts/inventory system working to identify critical spares and reduce inventory levels.

  • **Continuous Improvement Implementations: ** Actively pursue measures to reduce downtime on plant equipment, identify opportunities and take measures to reduce waste. Collaborate with CI teammates

  • TPM: Develop/Implement a TPM system within plant.

  • **Budgets: ** Manage maintenance spending within budgeted levels. Develop and lead cost savings projects.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration or facility management or equivalent experience

  • 10+ Years of industrial maintenance experience

  • Experience working on packaging equipment is a MUST

  • 3+ years of progressive maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics.

  • Solid working knowledge of electrical and mechanical processes related to manufacturing.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.
