Job Summary:
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to support the performance, reliability, and continuous operation of electrical and automated equipment within a regulated production environment. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems that support high-speed manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Job Duties:
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems including wiring, panels, motors, and control components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues using diagnostic tools to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Support automated equipment by maintaining PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and related control systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to improve reliability and production efficiency.
  • Document maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment changes in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent hands-on technical training.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, motors, and control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
  • Knowledge of industrial power distribution, motor controls, and automation components.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements
