Pay Range: $33.00 - $35.50/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (M-F)

A Canton, Ohio area manufacture seeks to hire an Industrial Maintenance Electrician who has experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, installing and repairing industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair 480V three-phase electrical equipment
• Maintain and troubleshoot high-voltage electrical systems up to 69,000 volts
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and ladder logic systems
• Maintain AC and DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and electrical controls
• Service overhead cranes, air compressors, induction furnaces, and production equipment
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
• Assist in training and mentoring electrical apprentices through the company's learner program
• Follow OSHA regulations, National Electrical Code (NEC), and all company safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician Card (required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship Program with on-the-job training
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, steel mills, foundries, or similar industrial environments preferred
• Experience troubleshooting PLC systems and industrial automation equipment
• Knowledge of industrial electrical tools and testing equipment
• Ability to operate man lifts, aerial lifts, and scaffolding
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a foundry or machine shop environment
• Exposure to heat, cold, dust, vibration, and industrial noise
• Frequently lift 25-50 pounds
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders, cranes, scaffolding, and aerial lifts
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including:
• Hard hat
• Steel-toe boots
• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection
• Additional PPE as required
