The Lead Industrial Electrician will undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. This job involves installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing appliances.

QUALIFICATIONS | |
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE |
· 4+ years of relevant electrical experience. · Experience in industrial and commercial electrical systems. · Knowledge of the use of electrical and hand tools; e.g., wire strippers, voltmeters, etc. · Demonstrated ability to understand electrical drawings and blueprints. |
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE | · Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. · Knowledge of basic instrumentation and calibration. |
REQUIRED EDUCATION | · Associate’s degree (two-year college or technical school) in Industrial Electrical Technology or similar field OR completion of recognized apprenticeship as an electrician OR equivalent work experience or vocational training. |

· Must have the ability to frequently move materials/machinery up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that involve being low to the ground, reaching high and low, and moving around a construction area.and perform tasks that involve searching for items and remaining in a stationary position for long periods of time. · Must be able to use small, hard-to-grip tools and manipulate hard-to-reach wires and other materials. · Stress of traveling. · Ability to ascend/descend ladders. · Ability to understand work instructions. · Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. · Must be able to distinguish different wires based on their colors. · Able to perceive depth well and can identify and distinguish electrical materials at varying distances. · Must be able to get into awkward positions and work in cramped spaces, such as crawl spaces under floors. |
