Industrial Inventory Operations Coordinator (Healthcare Textiles)

Location: Richmond, VA / Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00AM start / Compensation: $21.28 Hourly with Benefits

You start your day at 7:00AM, scanning pallets as trucks back into the bay. With an eye for detail, you verify counts of new linen, scrubs, and production supplies, organize stock locations, and keep records spotless. You’ll coordinate closely with the Quality/Garment Manager and Production Management team so the right items reach the right place—on time, every time. What You’ll Own

  • Receive and document incoming shipments from vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain precise inventory counts; store, rotate, and distribute materials efficiently.
  • Use computerized inventory software and RFID systems to track receipts and issues.
  • Collaborate with the Quality/Garment Manager and Production teams on material flow.
  • Identify and differentiate linen types to ensure accuracy and quality.

What You Bring

  • Prior inventory management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift and Scissor Lift Certification.
  • Strong organization, data entry, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work both independently and as a team player.
  • Comfort working in inventory software; vendor and supplier coordination skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Walk, stand, and climb stairs for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Transport carts of linen weighing up to 600 pounds.
