Role Overview
Conducts non destructive testing (NDT) inspections using computerized and state-of-the-art inspection equipment.
Determines the most effective inspection methods for specific materials, components, or applications.
Ensures products meet internal quality standards and customer requirements through thorough evaluation and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Examine materials and products for defects including cracks, porosity, incomplete welds, leaks, and internal flaws.
Perform inspections utilizing eddy current, ultrasonic, radiographic, FPI, visual, and thermographic techniques.
Read and interpret drawings and specifications to verify dimensions and compliance.
Document inspection results and report findings to Engineering.
Make technical judgments on inspection results and provide recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements.
Assist Engineering with technical evaluations, including component life assessments.
Provide technical and financial input on inspection-related recommendations.
Train and mentor new inspectors in accordance with ASNT standards.
Support ISO 9001 audit activities and ongoing compliance efforts.
Comply with all safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements
Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school, or one (1) to three (3) years of related inspection experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of nondestructive testing methods and inspection techniques.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration
Basic mathematical skills including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages.
Basic computer skills including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in an industrial environment with noise and chemical exposure.
