Job Description

• Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for industrial and manufacturing construction projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements.
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain and update cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Provide value engineering suggestions to optimize project costs.
• Prepare and present cost estimate reports to stakeholders.
• Assist in the negotiation of contracts and manage project budgets as needed.

The Successful Applicant

• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
• Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
