The Industrial Engineering Lead oversees industrial engineering strategies focused on die casting and machining operations, partnering with production, maintenance, quality, and HR/LR to implement lean manufacturing, improve throughput, and standardize work and manpower plans.
Key responsibilities include providing leadership and coaching to IE teams, driving process improvements in manufacturing, analyzing data to identify constraints, and developing standardized work for new and existing products. The role involves supporting program launches, managing scheduling and metrics, and championing safety and ergonomic practices.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, 5+ years of manufacturing experience, leadership skills, and expertise in lean tools and industrial engineering fundamentals. Preferred qualifications include experience in die casting/machining, GM GMS standards, and AutoCAD. The role is onsite with potential relocation benefits.
