With a proven track record of providing a stable, genuine & authentic place to work, the Burlington Raeford Plant is ready for you to join our team!We are looking to grow our team and fill the position of Industrial Engineer .We are seeking a skilled and proactive Industrial Engineer to support division and plant manufacturing objectives by improving quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance through the application of industrial engineering principles. This role develops and maintains product performance standards, establishes budgets, and leads and supports continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes, quality systems, cost control, automation, and workforce effectiveness within a textile manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Performance Standards & Continuous ImprovementSupport division manufacturing objectives for improving quality, delivery, and cost through implementation and improvement of industrial engineering systems, including:Product Performance Standards for Productivity and YieldAnnual Budgets for Machine Hours, Labor, Materials, and OverheadMaterials Handling optimizationCost reduction planning and productivity improvementEmployee involvement initiativesWage administration supportIndustrial Engineering technology application and management trainingIndustrial Engineering human resource planningCost Reduction & Cost ControlLead and manage cost reduction initiatives related to improving quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.Maintain and enhance manufacturing cost control systems to support plant and division objectives.Analyze labor, material, overhead, and process costs; recommend and implement corrective actions.Automation & TechnologyApply automated manufacturing solutions where appropriate to solve quality, delivery, and cost challenges.Evaluate, recommend, and assist with the installation of electronic monitoring and control systems.Ensure systems deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and data visibility.Customer Service & Production FlowSupport delivery performance and productivity through implementation of JIT manufacturing principles.Support manufacturing scheduling, inventory reduction, and throughput improvement initiatives.Professional Development & Best PracticesStay current with industrial engineering trends, tools, and best practices relevant to textile manufacturing.Recommend changes in policies, procedures, and engineering practices to improve overall plant performance.Required Qualifications EducationBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering , or a related engineering discipline.Experience3-7 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment , preferably within textile, apparel, or high-volume manufacturing operations.Demonstrated experience with cost reduction, process improvement, quality systems, and production optimization.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of:Industrial engineering principles and methodsLean manufacturing and JIT systemsStatistical analysis and quality toolsWork measurement and labor standardsManufacturing cost control systems and budgets developmentAutomation and manufacturing monitoring/control technologiesTextile manufacturing and processes preferred but not requiredProficiency in data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and manufacturing systems (ERP/MES preferred).Core CompetenciesAnalytical thinking and problem solvingContinuous improvement mindsetProject management and executionCrossfunctional collaborationCommunication and presentation skillsChange management and employee involvement facilitationPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to machinery, noise, and production floor conditions.Ability to lift, stand, and walk on the plant floor.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
