Industrial Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

A day in this role

When you arrive on shift, you’ll scan the floor, check your maintenance queue, and prioritize what keeps our production humming. One hour you’re performing preventive checks on a conveyor line; the next, you’re diagnosing a motor issue, tracing schematics, and swapping a component to get equipment back online. Throughout the day, you document work performed, assist with improvements around the facility, and partner with teammates to solve problems quickly and professionally.

What you’ll take on

• Plan and execute routine service on plant machinery and support systems to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize mechanical and electrical issues across motors, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Conduct inspections to spot wear, potential failures, and safety risks before they become problems.
• Contribute to facility upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Keep accurate, detailed maintenance records and update work orders.

Safety comes first—always. You follow established procedures and look out for both your own safety and your team’s. You’ll use the right PPE every time, including safety glasses, ear protection, steel-toe shoes, and a safety vest (with additional PPE as required). You also uphold housekeeping standards to keep work areas clean and organized. We provide training on our manufacturing equipment, safety practices, and housekeeping expectations. You’ll work in a friendly, productive team environment where collaboration and professional, effective issue resolution are the norm.

What you bring

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced, high-speed industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Background in both mechanical and electrical systems; strong electrical skills preferred.
• Hands-on experience with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics; corrugation machinery knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and sketches.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, welders, and torches.
• Proven problem-solver who works well independently and within a team, with high attention to detail.
• Certifications in mechanical systems and/or industrial electrical are a plus but not required.
