Your impact from day one

  • Plan work from requests and technical documents: wiring diagrams, one-lines, wire lists, and specifications
  • Execute IR and dielectric tests; capture complete test reports, logs, and records
  • Diagnose complex system issues and troubleshoot AC/DC circuits and PCAs down to the component
  • Assemble, program, and perform functional testing on circuit boards
  • Use professional-grade tools: digital meter, current meter, current clamp, out of phase transformer, variac transformer, resistive load bank, hi-pot tester, infrared camera, and computer-based systems
  • Promote safety by adhering to procedures, standards, and applicable regulations and codes

Baseline qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • Minimum one year in electrical test or a related electronic technologies area, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Role is local hire: no relocation benefits; candidates must be within 50 miles of the site (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation).

Preferred profile

  • Associate’s degree in electronics or electrical engineering technology
  • Training with electrical equipment and testing methods; fluent in reading one-line drawings, wire lists, and schematics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Familiarity with delta-wye 3 phase transformer operation and resistive load bank technology

Physical requirements

  • Regular sitting, standing, and walking
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds during the work shift
  • Capability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, push, and pull as needed
