Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver

Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver position. The Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones and delivers freight to our customers on a weekly route. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Efficiently organize delivery route on a daily basis
  • Loads and unloads freight and accurately fills out truck manifest
  • Accurately fills out gas invoices
  • Delivers freight and gas cylinders to customers
  • Completes delivery and pick-up paperwork promptly and accurately and returns
  • paperwork to the appropriate facility personnel
  • Take basic orders from customers when needed
  • Performs other tasks as assigned or necessary
  • Wage $24-$26/Hr DOE


Qualifications

  • Class A CDL Driver's License/ Hazmat endorsement
  • 1 year verifiable city delivery experience preferred
  • No at fault accidents or DOT moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Ability to drive and back tractor trailer combination
  • Familiar with all DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen
  • Knowledge of hauling hazardous materials
  • Ability to work safely around special hazards (i.e. mechanical–operating lift gate, and explosives–haul and work around flammable and non-flammable gas)
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (writing invoices, picking up small cylinders, rolling large cylinders, pushing cylinder cart, hand trucks, steering truck, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally weighing over 100 lbs.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time approximately 50% of time
