Consumer Direct Care Network Washington (CDWA) is looking for compassionate, reliable
individuals to support children with disabilities in their homes and communities. If you

At CDWA, care is at our core. We provide person-centered, in-home support to individuals
and families of all ages across Washington including children with developmental or
physical disabilities so they can remain safe, supported, and independent at home.

What You’ll Do as a Pediatric Caregiver:
• Support children with daily routines like dressing, feeding, toileting, and hygiene
• Assist with play-based learning, social development, and safe community
engagement
• Provide safe transport to therapy sessions, medical appointments, or school
• Offer consistent emotional support and help children build confidence and
independence
• Partner closely with parents and families to provide personalized, compassionate
care
• Observe and report any changes in the child’s health, behavior, or support needs

What You Need:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Pass a background check
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license & auto insurance (if transporting a
client)
• Ability to complete training requirements
• Physical ability to support weight-bearing activities, if needed
