Job Summary/Basic Function
Under limited supervision, provides moderately complex administrative support activities for the Indiana Small Business Development Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees Small Business Center reception services. Answers all client requests via phone, general email and new client intakes in CRM. Provides timely responses to client requests and assigns business advisors to clients.

Works independently to monitor multiple departmental accounts and budgets in order to provide departmental services that require the use of discretion and independent judgment in making decisions. Process requisitions, check requests and ensuring that all funds are used in accordance with Federal and State guidelines.

Organizes and maintains all SBA required client/contact data from client/contact/volunteer/workshop forms into Neoserra. Ensures data compliance in Neoserra by maintaining appropriate filters and reports reviewing weekly resolving errors and ensuring data integrity.

Maintains purchasing activity, plus coordinates travel, audits and processes reimbursement requests for full-time, part-time and consultants.

Makes decisions on content and implementation for eMarketing of monthly events and quarterly newsletter using Constant Contact. Creates content and maintains web page on Small Business Development Center website. Maintains an active social media presence for center.

Coordinate training sessions and seminars. Maintain schedule for workshops, provide materials, collect fees. Provides reports and documentation from each seminar to Small Business Development Center's Lead Center per Small Business Administration (SBA) requirements. Responsible for program management of new client initiatives. Monitoring intake forms, assigning appropriate business advisor/consultant, ensures proper documentation is in Neoserra of results of said program and monitors the budget for said program.

Participates in community outreach activities and meetings. Representing ISU and the Small Business Development Center at business expos, veterans expo and Chamber events within the 7 county region we serve.
