Overview
Allegria Village is seeking a dynamic, creative External Marketer to join our Independent Living team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a competitive, fast-growing industry, bringing both strong digital marketing skills and an energetic, in-person presence. You’ll blend data-driven strategies with innovative ideas to connect with seniors, build referral networks, and promote the unique benefits of Independent Living at Allegria Village.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow awareness & build connections: Increase community visibility with target audiences, referral sources, and potential residents to help achieve occupancy goals.

  • Develop & execute strategies: Create and implement strategic marketing and outreach plans to drive new business opportunities.

  • Plan & host events: Organize engaging marketing events for potential residents and referral partners, both on- and off-site.

  • Maintain relationships: Cultivate and sustain strong connections with referral agencies, lead sources, community organizations, and prospective residents’ families.

  • Represent Allegria Village: Participate in community networking, attend trade shows, and present our services to prospective clients.

  • Collaborate with leadership: Work closely with the Senior Director, Administrator, and Independent Living marketing/admissions team to align outreach activities with overall occupancy goals.

  • Track & report results: Submit daily and weekly marketing reports, monitor industry competition, and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Social media & digital marketing: Contribute to and help shape our online presence to engage prospective residents and referral sources.

Weekly Focus

  • External marketing: 3–4 days per week in the field

  • Host and attend marketing events

  • Network with referral sources, agencies, and community partners

  • Attend weekly internal marketing meetings and calls with leadership

  • Maintain a visible and approachable presence within the community

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in senior living

  • Proven success in event planning, referral development, and sales growth

  • Strong digital marketing and social media skills

  • Creative problem-solver with analytical thinking and adaptability

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable engaging with seniors, their families, and community professionals

  • Compassionate, empathetic, and personable demeanor

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
