Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an entry level Incubation Technician. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma and the ability tolift 35-40 lbs and separate 200-300 boxes (50 lbs each) for extended periods.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high quality supply of raw materials to various departments of Boehringer Ingelheim Select, Gainesville in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform all processes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and communicate any occurrences immediately to team leader or supervisor.
  • Keep areas neat, clean, and adhere to cleaning schedules to ensure a safe and bio-secure work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of activities, and keep incubators, flats, and carts cleaned.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance at incubation building.
  • Assist with opening, separating egg boxes, racking, and candling of eggs.
  • Support the delivery of eggs and unload egg trucks weekly using a pallet jack.
  • Learn to operate ACI Incubators and alarm systems.
  • Follow all safety procedures and complete GMP paperwork as required.
  • Work in sterilization team focusing on warehousing and managing waste flows to ensure clean and stocked lab floors.
  • Adhere to avian biosecurity policies, including restrictions on contact with birds or poultry, and follow all safety practices related to hazardous substances like formaldehyde.
  • Support other tasks related to raw materials processing, including receiving, racking, setting, candling, and delivering eggs.
  • Perform duties related to process safety, environmental practices, and inventory control, potentially using computerized systems.

Requirements
  • Ability to follow written SOPs consistently
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is a plus
  • Ability to lift 35-40 lbs and separate 200-300 boxes (50 lbs each) for extended periods (3-5 hours)
  • Capability to twist, turn, bend, stoop, and maneuver heavy carts on sloped surfaces
  • Good visual accuracy in low light settings
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Zero to minimal prior experience required
