This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to animal welfare.

1. In Vivo Biomaterials Testing

  • Perform small animal surgeries (e.g., implant/biomaterials/tumor implantation, catheterization, organ-specific procedures) and post-operative care.
  • Administer test articles via routes such as IV, IP, SC, PO, surgically and monitor clinical outcomes.
  • Conduct blood/tissue collection, pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) sampling, and necropsy.
  • Maintain accurate records of animal health, experimental data, and regulatory documentation.
2. Histology & Sample Processing
  • Process, embed, and section FFPE and frozen tissues using microtomes/cryostats.
  • Perform histological staining (H&E, IHC, IF, special stains) and optimize protocols.
  • Support advanced techniques (e.g., RNAscope, spatial omics) as needed.
  • Manage tissue inventories and digital pathology tools for image analysis.
3. Laboratory Operations
  • Prepare reagents, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with SOPs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support study design and data analysis.
  • Train junior staff on in vivo and histological techniques.
4. Compliance
