Job Description
We are seeking for LBS1 Certified Teacher for Immediate hire to work in-person with Special Education students.
You will provide non-classroom instruction to students on an individual basis.
Responsibilities:
- Educate students in their homes.
- Design and implement lesson plans as needed.
- Document and communicate progress reports
- Provide constructive feedback for students
- Review and assign homework as necessary
- Facilitate tutoring sessions for the prescribed subjects at the agreed time and location
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with students
- Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requirements:
Must have minimum 2 year Teaching / Tutoring Experience
LBS1 Certification
Reliable transportation, must live close to Elmhurst / Downers Grove / Wheaton
Morning or Afternoon hours required. Evening availability is a plus.
Access to the internet, computer, and cell phone
