In-Line Set Up / Operator and Maintenance Tech

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment? We are hiring for our client in Macedonia, OH, and we want to hear from qualified candidates ready to contribute to a dynamic team. If you enjoy working with machinery, solving problems quickly, and maintaining a high standard of quality, this could be the opportunity for you.

As an In-Line Set Up / Operator and Maintenance Tech, you will prepare and operate equipment to meet production goals, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld.


Shift: 
  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

 

Pay:
  • $22.00 per hour (starting), $23.00 per hour once hired


 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with building open and close, including machine start up and shut down
  • Support Preventive Maintenance for equipment and facilities as scheduled
  • Identify and resolve safety issues as they arise
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization inside the building
  • Locate, set up, and return tooling to storage areas before and after production
  • Verify and inspect tooling before and after use
  • Create and update processing recipes for accurate setup
  • Operate machinery to meet production requirements
  • Follow all safety, production, and performance guidelines, including PPE use
  • Ensure all documentation such as work orders and instructions are complete and understood
  • Load raw materials for processing and secure approval from Quality Control
  • Provide break relief for production operators as needed
  • Perform in-process quality inspections to ensure parts meet standards
  • Communicate quality issues promptly to the appropriate personnel
  • Work to reduce scrap and improve efficiency
  • Complete all emergency shutdown procedures when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Minimum Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment and safety protocols
  • Ability to read work instructions and drawings
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
