Main Responsibilities: Planning, directing, and coordinating activities of a large technology replacement project
Specific Duties: Executing project plans, facilitating stakeholders in establishing project requirements, managing project schedule, leading project team status meetings, monitoring project progress, managing project risks and issues, managing project scope changes, managing project change control, ensuring IT systems and workflows are well-documented, participating in QA and UAT planning and execution, creating and maintaining project documentation, performing post-implementation reviews
Essential Skills: Good analytical skills, superior customer service skills, teamwork, strong understanding of project management methodologies, strong experience leading teams for medium to large scale IT projects, strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills, advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, writing, and communication skills, ability to develop productive working relationships, manage projects to successful conclusion, experience in managing vendor relations and partnerships, ability to handle multiple tasks, high degree of independence, intuition, and initiative, ability to maintain composure and control when projects do not proceed as planned, strong experience with Microsoft Project, Visio and Office
Desired Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business or related field
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management
Certifications: PMP, Scrum or similar certifications desired
Other: Prior healthcare industry experience preferred, new COTS implementation experience highly desired, strong understanding of healthcare enterprise systems desired
