Position Overview
We are seeking a highly professional, reliable, and engaging Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a one-on-one, in-home care position. This is an active, collaborative role requiring meaningful companion interaction and dedicated clinical support for a happy, intelligent 40-year-old male with Cerebral Palsy, quadriplegia, reduced speech, G-Tube and a seizure disorder. This position is strictly for clinical and companion care, not passive sitting.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver attentive personal care and physical assistance tailored to the client's needs.
Administer medications safely and accurately according to care plans.
Monitor health status, manage a G-tube, and maintain precise digital charting.
Actively engage with the client as an encouraging companion to foster a positive environment.
Maintain clean client spaces, including light housekeeping and dedicated laundry.
Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and adapt readily to new care protocols.
Applicant Requirements
Certification: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and current CPR certification.
Credentials: Valid driver’s license and access to safe, reliable transportation.
Background: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
