Position: In-Home CNA

As a caregiver with HCAN, you'll provide high-quality, non-medical support and assistance to clients in their homes. You'll play a vital role in helping individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity.

Experience:

Must have active CNA in Iowa

Must have experience with catheters, bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation with a walker & gait belt, meal prep, medication monitoring, and light housekeeping.

Must be 18 years or older

Must have active CNA in Iowa

Must have a valid driver's license

Must have auto insurance

Must be experienced

Key Responsibilities:

Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support

Assist with light housekeeping and laundry

Drive or accompany clients to errands, appointments, or activities

Offer medication reminders (non-clinical)

Support with bathing, hygiene, mobility, and catheter care

Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs

Ensure home safety and fall prevention

Offer respite care for family caregivers
