Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in their own homes. Schedule

During the school year: evenings and/or weekends

Summertime/breaks from school: daytime hours available!

Hours vary from 5 hours per week to full time, depending how many clients you would be looking to care for!

Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans
• Monitor and report on clients’ health status, noting any changes or concerns
• Support nutritional needs by preparing meals and assisting with feeding as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to safety protocols
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery
• Document care activities accurately in accordance with agency policies
• Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being

Requirements

• Prior experience in healthcare settings
• Ability to work independently within the home environment while maintaining professional standards
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred for client visits
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and communicate effectively with clients and healthcare teams
• Must be able to pass background checks and meet any applicable licensing or certification requirements
