Position Snapshot:
- Pay: $21.00/hour
- Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:45 AM – 11:45 AM (just 6 hours/week total)
- Employment: Direct hire through the individual’s long-term care program – fully compliant with Wisconsin wage & labor laws. Equal Opportunity Employer.
- Training: Full, paid training on all medical equipment and procedures – no experience required, just a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do Each Shift:
- G-tube Feeding: Provide gentle gravity feeds while ensuring comfort.
- Seizure Awareness: Stay attentive and maintain a safe environment.
- Mobility Assistance: Use a gait belt for safe transfers and movement.
- Personal Care: Offer light, respectful support as needed.
- Companionship & Outings: Enjoy real conversation at home, plus occasional trips to a park or coffee shop (weather permitting).
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Is open to learning about G-tube feeding and seizure monitoring.
- Communicates clearly and patiently, with a relationship-centered approach.
- Can assist with transfers using a gait belt.
- Feels confident supporting safe mobility on walks and outings.
