Job Overview

With over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for crucial clerical functions and manage substantial sums of money and valuables. Your role will include invoice validation, vendor database maintenance, and financial reporting, all while promoting efficiency and accuracy within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and certify the accuracy of official agency financial records
  • Assist in budget preparation and control
  • Manage payments, vouchers, and financial transactions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
  • Negotiate settlement of accounts and manage procurement processes
  • Operate office equipment and manage equipment orders and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and promote effective interpersonal relationships

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recordkeeping and bookkeeping experience
  • 5+ years of accounts payable/voucher processing experience
  • 5+ years of experience in budget preparation and control assistance
  • 5+ years of financial reporting experience
  • 5+ years of procurement and contract knowledge
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Eligibility to be bonded

Preferences

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials
  • Experience with auditing systems
