Job Description:

The Implementation Manager is responsible for leading and managing project implementations within a specified geography, region, district, product, or service area. This role is focused on ensuring project success through effective communication, planning, risk management, and resource coordination. The Implementation Manager will work closely with both Business and Information Technology teams to establish and meet project requirements, acting as the primary contact throughout the project lifecycle. This position involves supervising a team and may require occasional travel and flexibility in work hours to meet project demands.

  • Internal Salary Grade: 30C

  • Work Schedule: M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Oversight

  • Lead the overall implementation process, including project planning, communications, and resource coordination.

  • Manage and resolve project-related issues within assigned areas, ensuring timely progress and successful completion.

  • Implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to define business requirements and secure necessary approvals.

  • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the project, facilitating effective communication and updates.

Planning and Development

  • Support in developing deployment strategies and roll-out plans to ensure smooth implementation.

  • Oversee post-implementation audits to verify project success and adherence to established criteria.

  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and functionality meet expectations.

Team Management

  • Supervise a team of supervisors, providing guidance and support as needed for successful project delivery.

  • Coordinate resources effectively, ensuring team alignment with project goals and timelines.

Travelling

  • Willingness and ability to travel across North America on short notice as required for project needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project implementation, preferably in a similar role within a technical or business-focused environment.

  • Strong understanding of project management processes, including risk management, resource coordination, and issue resolution.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams in a project setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

  • Flexibility to travel and adjust work hours to meet project requirements.
