IMO Lead
Pay Range: $65/hour to $80/hour
Overview
We are seeking an experienced IMO Lead M&A Integration to drive execution of large-scale integration initiatives within an Integration Management Office (IMO) framework. This role serves as the central coordination point across integration workstreams, ensuring alignment to Day 1 readiness and post-close milestones, while driving accountability, execution discipline, and value realization.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) integration, strong leadership in complex program environments, and the ability to manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and escalations.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the IMO execution lead for integration initiatives, ensuring alignment to Day 1 and post-close objectives
- Drive coordination and execution across cross-functional integration workstreams
- Establish and manage integration governance, including reporting cadence, dashboards, and executive updates
- Track milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation management
- Act as central escalation point, triaging issues and guiding teams toward resolution
- Facilitate integration workshops, stakeholder meetings, and decision-making sessions
- Manage interdependencies across workstreams to ensure proper sequencing and execution
TSA Management:
- Oversee Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs), including tracking deliverables, timelines, risks, and exit readiness
- Coordinate with functional teams to ensure seamless service transition
Synergy Execution:
- Drive synergy planning, execution, and tracking
- Ensure realization of financial and operational benefits
Integration Planning & Reporting:
- Support Day 1 readiness planning and execution
- Maintain integration dashboards, reporting, and value tracking metrics
- Ensure consistent use of IMO tools, templates, and processes
- Partner with functional leaders (Technology, Finance, HR, Operations, etc.) to align on priorities and execution plans
Required Qualifications- 1012+ years of experience in program management, integration management, or transformation initiatives
- Direct experience leading M&A integration efforts, including Day 1 readiness and post-close execution
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional workstreams in fast-paced environments
- Experience with TSA management, synergy tracking, and integration execution frameworks
- Strong problem-solving, risk management, and escalation handling skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, ambiguous environments
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications- Experience within an Integration Management Office (IMO) or Transaction Management Office (TMO)
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise integrations
- Advanced degree (MBA or related)
