Constellation Search Group is looking for an Immigration Attorney for a full-time position. This role involves delivering high-impact work within a supportive and dynamic team environment. The position focuses on both removal defense and affirmative applications, while encouraging involvement in federal litigation and habeas corpus. The candidate will join a firm deeply committed to engaging with the community and providing exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:- Represent clients in removal proceedings, including Master Calendar and Individual Hearings.
- Manage bond hearings and detention cases.
- Prepare and file affirmative humanitarian cases, including VAWA, U Visa, T Visa, SIJS, asylum, adjustment, and naturalization applications.
- Develop case strategy from intake through resolution, providing clear, honest, and strategic legal guidance.
- Conduct client consultations and maintain proactive case management.
- Participate in federal litigation, supporting habeas corpus petitions and complex litigation strategies challenging unlawful detention.
- Review FOIAs and identify litigation opportunities, with mentorship provided to develop these skills.
Qualifications:- 3+ years of experience in immigration law with a strong background in removal defense.
- Experience in handling humanitarian and family-based cases.
- Preferably experienced or strongly interested in federal litigation and habeas corpus.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Strategic thinker, confident in court, with a solutions-oriented approach.
