Vision Life is currently seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Glendale. We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and skilled individuals who are committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide direct care and supervision to clients in a home/community setting
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, hygiene, and meal preparation
  • Support clients in achieving personal goals and maintaining independence
  • Follow individualized care plans and document daily activities accurately
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and families
Qualifications:


  • Substantial experience as a Direct Support Professional (preferred)
  • Male and female candidates encouraged to apply (specific client needs)
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass background check
Schedule:


  • Approximately 24 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling may be required based on client needs
