    Description

    We are looking for an Imaging Tech Assistant to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health!

    What Youll Do:

    Transports patients to and from Imaging, CT, MR, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine/Nuclear Cardiology as requested by technical staff. Verifies patient identity with name and date of birth. Confirms mode of transportation and assists patient. Assists patient back to the entrance and to their car as needed. Assists in all modalities as requested to optimize the efficiency of the department including transporting patients from the ED to the modality and assisting the patient onto the couch. Cleans room and changes linen as needed in the modality to assist with patient flow. Utilizes Ticket to Ride when transporting Ips to and from Imaging. Assists patients from the waiting room to the dressing room or scan areas as requested. Assists patients from scan areas to either exit or next appointment area. Calls patient to confirm appointments and respond to patient questions as appropriate, prepares clinical information forms for next day's schedule. At beginning and end of shift: stocks exam rooms with clean linen and supplies, stock dressing rooms and warmer, stocks refrigerator with patient drinks necessary for exams in all modalities. Puts away supplies when delivered to the modality. Makes RTs aware of low stock and need to replace key supplies. Attends all mandatory education and in-services (i.e., team training, safety, infection control, etc.); completes mandatory health requirements.     Requirements

    High school diploma. Efficient organizational skills. Customer driven work ethic. Excellent verbal communication skills. State of Ohio driver's license.
