Title: Imaging Technician/ Specimen Processor
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: 4+ Months (Possible Extension/ Temp to Hire)
Shift: 3rd shift Tuesday-Saturday 12am-8:30am
Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing, sorting, and organizing requisitions for the scanning process in a high-volume production environment while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, sort, and route requisitions for imaging and billing workflows
- Perform pickup and delivery of requisitions between departments
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting prior to scanning
- Identify and resolve issues such as missing labels, damaged pages, or incomplete attachments
- Escalate complex issues to lead or supervisor as needed
- Maintain accurate, legible documentation within required timeframes
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Understanding of lab requisition types and document handling
- Attention to detail and accuracy in a production setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends/holidays if needed
Education & Experience:- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Prior production or document processing experience preferred
- Familiarity with mainframe or enterprise systems is a plus
