What We Offer:

The Imaging Specialist is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting biomedical and diagnostic imaging equipment across the organization. This role ensures imaging systems are safe, reliable, and compliant with regulatory standards, supporting uninterrupted patient care. The Imaging Specialist partners with Clinical Engineering, Imaging Services, vendors, and clinical teams to minimize equipment downtime and support high-quality patient care.

What We're Looking For:

Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree prefered. Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field.

Experience: 2 year experience repairing and maintaining biomedical or diagnostic imaging equipment preferred. 

Licensure/Certification: CBET, CRES, or equivalent biomedical/imaging certification preferred.

What You'll Do:

•Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, calibration, and safety inspections on biomedical and imaging equipment.
•Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures to minimize downtime and support patient care operations.
•Respond to service calls and prioritize work based on clinical impact and safety.
•Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and compliance logs within the CMMS.
•Ensure equipment compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards.
•Support installation, testing, acceptance, and commissioning of new or upgraded equipment.
•Coordinate service activities with vendors and evaluate service performance.
•Provide technical support and guidance to clinical users regarding proper equipment operation.
•Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response activities as assigned.
