MTA Bridges and Tunnels operates the largest bridge and tunnel network in New York City, managing nine crossings that include seven bridges and two tunnels. Telework:

This position is eligible for telework which is currently one day per week. New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective date of hire.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Manger Performance Measurement, the Image Analyst is responsible for image audits of TBTA's Central Business District Tolling Program (CBDTP) and Open Road Tolling (ORT) toll collection systems. This position is intended to identify issues with image capture and quality and quickly address their rectification. The Image Analyst will work to ensure that all images collected by both toll collection systems are processed and reprocessed as needed and that Key Performance Indicator (KPI) requirements related to image capture are being met by the contractor. The Image Analyst will also periodically review the image review process of the contractor for both ORT and CBDTP systems to identify inefficiencies and potential training issues.

Responsibilities:

• Complies with all policies and standards
• May be required to work hours outside regular work hours, as applicable
• Observes the work performed by contractors, as applicable
• Reviews invoices and approves them if the work has contractual standards, as applicable
• Addresses performance issues with the contractor when possible, as applicable
• Escalates issues to other parties when needed, as applicable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications, particularly Excel
• Ability to identify, analyze, document, and communicate image quality and operational performance issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and procedures quickly.
• General understanding of quality assurance, auditing, or operational review processes.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and support performance measurement activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including filtering, sorting, data validation, and basic reporting functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Transportation, Data Analytics, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in quality assurance, auditing, data analysis, operational monitoring, transportation systems, tolling operations, technical support, or a related field.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of or experience with performance measurement roles
• Effective research, analytical, writing abilities and communication skills
• Knowledge of computer software and hardware systems and their application in an operating environment
• Knowledge of toll collection systems, transportation operations, or Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).

Final salary is determined experience, skillset, and alignment with compensation practices. The posted range reflects expected compensation and may be updated as market or business needs evolve.
