Identity and Authentication Engineer

What role will you play? You will play a key role in the operational management and continuous enhancement of Macquarie's enterprise authentication platforms, ensuring they remain secure, stable, and highly available for applications used across the organization.Across Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments, you will manage user lifecycle activities, access controls, and directory integrations that support secure authentication. You will work closely with application owners and technology partners to onboard internal and thirdparty applications to multifactor authentication, strengthening security while maintaining a seamless user experience.In this role, you will shape and optimize conditional access policies to balance security, usability, and compliance requirements. You will also lead automation, reporting, and alerting initiatives to uplift operational resilience.
