Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, this leadership role is your opportunity to influence the future of patient care. Hourly Pay Range: $41.56 - $61.30
Qualifications
Education:
- Prefer a bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience relevant to the patient populations and/or scope of practice.
- Demonstrated leadership ability is a plus.
Certification/Licensure:
- Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, a temporary AZ RN license, or a valid compact RN licensure for the current state of practice.
- Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
- Requires a BLS card obtained through an American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
- In addition, certification or continuing education may be required based on the area of practice:
- ED-Maryvale: Must have ACLS and PALS upon hire or transfer. Must obtain ATCN or TNCC within twelve (12) months and ENPC within twelve (12) months. Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Pediatric Certified Emergency Nurse (PCEN), or Trauma Certified Emergency Nurse (TCRN) is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
- Requires effective communication skills.
- The ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.
- Bilingual is preferred.
