Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with CVICU experience highly preferred
- Epic electronic medical record experience
- Proficiency with lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
- Strong knowledge of ICU equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, Servo ventilators, Dialysis machines, and cardiac monitors
- Ability to float across ICUs, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU units as needed
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Impella and CRRT/NXSTAGE devices (hard stop requirements)
- Additional certifications or training in specialized equipment or procedures
- Ability to adapt to various clinical scenarios and patient needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Valid RN license with current certifications in BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIH (CPI can be obtained at the facility for a fee)
- Prior experience in Telemetry, CVICU, or related critical care units
- Familiarity with the use of advanced medical monitoring systems
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Must be able to provide care for Covid-19 and isolation patients and know your N95 mask size
- Limited return-to-office (RTO) of up to 5 days
