IBM ODM Developer:

Skills: Insurance: Underwriting Mode, must have IBM MDM exp

  • Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business rules using the IBM ODM platform.
  • Translating business requirements into executable rule sets, configuring rule execution, integrating ODM with other systems, and ensuring the performance and compliance of decision services.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining business rules using IBM ODM, including decision tables, rule flows, and other rule artifacts.
  • Configuring the ODM environment, including Rule Execution Server and Decision Center, to execute and manage rules effectively.
  • Integrating ODM solutions with various enterprise systems and applications, including databases, APIs, and other business services.
  • Ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of ODM applications by optimizing rule execution and resource utilization.
  • Effectively uses strong communication skills for partnering with internal clients and business entities.
  • IBM ODM Expertise Deep understanding of IBM ODM components (Rule Designer, Decision Center, Decision Server).
  • JavaJ2EE Solid experience in Java and related technologies for development and integration within the ODM environment.
  • Database Knowledge Familiarity with databases (SQL, PLSQL, DB2, Oracle) for data management and integration.
  • Web Services Experience with REST and SOAP APIs. Version Control Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
  • Testing and Debugging Ability to test and debug rule sets and decision services.
  • Deployment Experience with WebSphere Application Server for deploying and managing ODM applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design, implement, and troubleshoot decision logic.
  • Understanding business requirements and the ability to translate them into effective decision rules.
  • Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into rules.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and collaborate on complex projects.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner.
