Austin Centers currently serves over a thousand students per year from more than 100 school districts and charter schools on all our campuses. Our Vision: To ignite a brighter tomorrow for every child and youth, regardless of their struggles, by providing unwavering support, world‑class education, and a nurturing environment.Job RequirementsThis position is assigned to direct and coordinate the IBI Program at The Austin Centers Gilbert campus located in the IBI classroom and act as a behavior intervention specialist and CPI trainer on the campus. Computer skills in MSWord, EXCEL, and The ACES/IBI Database are essential. The physical demand will be occasional lifting, carrying, kneeling, crouching, and use of approved Austin Centers Therapeutic Holds when a student is a danger to self or others, and all other approved approaches have been exhausted.ExperienceJob related experience at the Austin Centers is preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience with the Austin Centers preferred. TSS level 2 or 3 preferred. The ability and approval to drive ACES vehicles is preferred.EducationTargeted job related education with a Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required. Strong presentation and written language skills are a must.Certificates and LicensesCPI Instructor Certification (to be acquired after assignment of the position)ClearancesCurrent State of Arizona Department of Public Safety Level IVP Fingerprint Clearance CardCurrent CPR Card and CPI CardJob DutiesTrain/mentor all Austin Centers support staff and teachers in CPI training and Austin Centers Student and Safe Physical ManagementBe an active presenter in Austin Centers' Professional Development, and parent workshopsDirectly support behavioral interventions for Austin Centers students and teachersAll daily operations of the IBI programGiving tours of the program to districts, families of potential IBI studentsComplete monthly billingArrange IBI transportation for assigned studentsCommunicate with districts about student progressDaily phone calls to parents regarding student successes and challengesInputting all student info, daily attendance, behavioral dataProviding districts with behavioral strategies for when student returns to home schoolTeach daily social skills lessons with all students in the IBI programGrow the IBI daily enrollment by marketing the program to new districts and schoolsOther functions will be assigned as needed by the Principal or Director of PBISPay Range$49,000 - $51,000 USDJoining our team means that you are part of a passionate team of professionals dedicated to meeting the needs of our exceptional students.
