Summary:
This position specializes in helping families adjust to acute and ongoing stressors, providing psychiatric, psychological and biopsychosocial support for the pediatricians within CHPG and specialty clinics, as well as the clinically integrated network and indigent clinics in our community. These services include clinical assessment and screening, treatment planning, short term counseling and strategic interventions with the child, family and caregivers, and may occur either in person or via tele-medicine. This position also serves as the communication hub for all providers involved, assuring the pediatrician is kept apprised of behavioral health treatment recommendations and progress. Each BH CM will be assigned a specific geographic area such that identifying trends in behavioral health issues and developing new treatment regimens, including group treatment, is also a key component.
