I.E.P. Manager\n \nIEP Compliance\n\n Conduct professional development for IEP writers\n Maintain students' files, related to the IEP and IEP-related documents, in inspection-ready condition at all times in order for New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School to remain in compliance in all areas according to federal, state, and district regulations\n Create mentorship program for Diverse Learners staff\n Provide technical and content training to all IEP writing staff and staff involved in developing transition plans, with the support of the Diverse Learners Director\n Supervise the development of all IEPs including proofreading, editing, and making recommendations for revisions to maintain compliance and meet the individual needs of students;\n Prepare for, schedule, and conduct all IEP-related meetings (annual, triennial reviews, 60-day reviews, attendance meetings, placement meetings, manifestation, and Senior exit meetings); ensure that all parties whose presence or input is required for the meetings (including staff, administrators, parents/guardians, advocates, surrogates, social workers, etc.) have been notified promptly, and obtain the required documentation from all parties, including those unable to attend\n Assist general education teachers with modifications/adaptations of the schoolwide curriculum to meet students' IEP accommodations\n Provide parents/guardians with required documents prior to and following an IEP meeting within specified timelines; file all related documents promptly\n Provide an internal audit every quarter based on LDOE monitoring protocol\n Manage an IEP calendar that is shared with Diverse Learners staff\n Review IEPs of new students so that it reflects academics, behavior, related services, etc...\n Point of contact for evaluations from beginning to end of the process, including organizing evaluation testing, monthly meetings regarding all evaluations, supplying requested documentation, and attendance of dissemination meetings.\n \nAccommodations\n\n Point of contact as a teacher resource for accommodations and modifications in the classroom.\n Ensure that confidentiality agreements are signed by regular education teachers during the first 2 weeks of classes\n Inputs testing accommodations into the DRC portal for LEAP \n Completes LDOE Testing Audit reports for Students with Accommodations\n Applies for ACT accommodations on behalf of the students \n Applies for AP accommodations on behalf of students in College Board \n Collaborates with CTE department to input accommodations for students into Certiport\n Accommodations testing coordinator for ACT and LEAP as stated in ACT and DRC \n\n
