About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CDL Hydro vac Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate hydro vac trucks to perform non-destructive excavation and daylighting services. You’ll work closely with our field crews to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Operate hydro vac truck and related equipment for excavation and utility exposure.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards to include medical clearance and drug screening.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
- Complete accurate job documentation and communicate effectively with team members.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with a clean driving record.
- CDL Tanker endorsement.
- Clean or acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug & alcohol testing.
- Previous hydro vac or vacuum truck experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Understanding of underground utility hazards (gas, electric, fiber, water, sewer)
