Salary 75-95K Seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst with 3–5 years of experience supporting vulnerability management, cyber defense operations, and risk mitigation within DoD environments. This role is responsible for conducting vulnerability scans and application security assessments, identifying and analyzing security risks, and troubleshooting cyber defense infrastructure anomalies through resolution. - The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using tools such as ACAS, HBSS, IDS/IPS technologies, and other network security solutions to protect systems and improve organizational security posture.
- Candidates should possess a strong understanding of network security architecture, system and OS hardening, TCP/IP protocols, VPN security, malware protection, access controls, and cybersecurity principles related to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
- Experience analyzing network traffic, identifying cyber threats and vulnerabilities, and applying defense-in-depth and Zero Trust concepts is highly desired. Knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, and mobile operating systems.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification is required.
