The position is for a Customer Care Specialist. This role supports a dynamic, quality-driven organization by serving as the primary liaison between customers, laboratories, and logistics teams. The Customer Care Specialist ensures seamless order processing, service coordination, and exceptional customer experiences.
Customer Care Specialist Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external customers
Process orders, transactions, repairs, and calibration logistics with accuracy
Manage customer communications via phone and email (less than 10% phone time)
Provide service status updates, quotations, and expedite requests
Coordinate pickups and deliveries with labs and logistics teams
Maintain accurate records and data entry within CRM systems
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely service execution
Customer Care Specialist Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and highly coachable
2 years of customer service, scheduling, planning, or vendor coordination experience
Preferred:
Associate or bachelor s degree
Background in life sciences, biotech, pharma, military, or defense
Experience working with manufacturers or technical service environments
Additional Details
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Coatesville, PA
Work Setup: Hybrid 3 days in-office, 2 remote
Standard Monday Friday schedule with flexible start times
Initial onboarding (1 2 weeks) conducted fully on-site for training
