Compensation:

• The pay for this position is $41.00 per hour - weekly
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available to full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Highlights:
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Hybrid schedule – onsite in Cary, NC two days per week (Wednesday required / second day flexible)
• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with occasional Saturdays
• Must reside within commutable distance to Cary, NC

Responsibilities:
• Counsel and educate new and existing patients on specialty drug therapies
• Discuss medication adherence, side effects, and treatment alternatives to support ongoing therapy compliance
• Complete accurate and thorough clinical documentation in compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to manufacturers, FDA, and governing authorities
• Perform specialty drug verification and patient education
• Serve as liaison between providers and patients to support therapeutic continuity and positive outcomes
• Maintain patient management programs through call cadence scheduling, medication management, and provider collaboration
• Maintain patient demographic records and medical histories in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy support teams to ensure timely and accurate specialty medication delivery
• Utilize strong communication and motivational interviewing skills to provide high-quality patient care and support

Requirements:
• Active unrestricted RN license with compact state license or primary North Carolina RN licensure required
• Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or accredited Nursing Diploma required
• Minimum 4+ years of nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of acute inpatient nursing experience required
• Oncology, telehealth, and medication management experience preferred
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, and web-based systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to obtain additional state licenses within 3 months of employment through company-supported licensing program
• Must be able to commute onsite twice weekly in Cary, NC

Preferred Qualifications:
• Telehealth nursing experience
• Oncology nursing experience
• Specialty pharmacy or medication therapy management experience
• Motivational interviewing experience
