Job Title: Hardware Test Technician
Location: San Jose, CA 95138 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Temp To Hire)
Pay range: $60-$65 per hour on W2

Opportunity Overview:
  • We are recruiting for a Hardware Test Technician within our New Product Introduction Group (NPI-Pilot Line team), Clients Memory Business Unit to join our team in San Jose, CA.
  • This role is on site in our San Jose, CA office 5x week.
  • Responsible for conducting tests and evaluations on products (Tester and PCBA) to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • Conduct Testing: Test technicians perform various tests to evaluate the functionality, reliability, and durability of clients products.
  • This can include stress tests, performance evaluations, and quality assurance checks.
  • Document Results: After conducting tests, recording and interpreting the results, providing detailed data to engineers and stakeholders to inform product development and improvements.
  • Maintain Equipment: Test technicians are responsible for the upkeep of testing equipment, including regular cleaning, calibration, debug and repairs to ensure accurate testing results.

Must Have:
  • Able to troubleshoot PCBA at component level
  • Able to repair PCBA at component level
  • Able to use and troubleshoot Test Equipment Tools (Oscilloscope, Meter)
  • Able to identify product and equipment failures
  • 5+ years of related experience is desired
  • Must be able to communicate with cross functional personnel (Verbally and by email)
  • The ability to be on site 5x days a week, between 7am-5pm
  • Able to use Client Office (Excel/Word/PDF/etc.)
  • Ability of lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Needs to be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to work overtime
