HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator Helper

Location: Based out of Wentzville, MO, with work supporting projects throughout St. Charles County and St. Louis County.

Elite Heating and Cooling is a family-owned HVAC company serving Wentzville and the surrounding areas with residential and commercial heating, cooling, indoor air quality, and water heater services. We are seeking an HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator Helper to support our installation team with shop fabrication, ductwork production, and material preparation. This role is important as we continue strengthening our internal sheet metal capabilities and supporting both residential and commercial HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with fabricating ductwork and HVAC sheet metal components
• Use plasma cutting equipment and other fabrication tools safely
• Read layouts, measurements, and field notes to produce accurate pieces
• Support install crews by preparing materials in advance
• Maintain an organized, safe, and productive shop environment
• Contribute to residential and commercial HVAC projects
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

• 1 year of HVAC sheet metal fabrication experience required
• Experience with duct fabrication and plasma cutting strongly preferred
• Ability to read measurements and fabricate accurately
• Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work safely in a shop environment
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and willingness to support the team

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 employment
• Pay: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
