We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician for a permanent position with a well-established Mechanical Contractor in Savannah, GA. This role offers a great opportunity for individuals with some commercial experience who are eager to learn and advance their careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial buildings, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues within HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs to ensure efficient operation.
• Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues.
• Customer Interaction: Provide technical support and guidance to clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including gas-fired furnaces, electric heat pumps, and RTUs.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, often under time constraints.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety regulations and codes related to HVAC work, including handling refrigerants and combustible fuels.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with clients and team members is essential for providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Work Environment

• Field Work: Work in various commercial settings, which may involve physical labor and exposure to different weather conditions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and service managers to complete projects and resolve issues.

Must have an EPA Universal certification with some commercial experience. Must be dependable with reliable transportation.
