HVAC Service Technician - The HVAC Service Technician plays a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems while delivering a superior customer experience. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and safety inspections.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigerant, and airflow issues.
- Clearly explain repair options and recommendations to customers.
- Promote maintenance plans, indoor air quality products, and system upgrades when appropriate.
- Complete service documentation and collect customer payments.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of residential/light commercial HVAC service experience.
- EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and use digital diagnostic tools.
- NATE certification, trade school, HCP or ServiceTitan experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and love up to 75 lbs regularly
- Work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops and other tight / hot spaces.
- Stand, kneel, climb and crouch for extended periods.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
- Drive company vehicle and maintain clean driving record.
