HVAC Service Manager - Residential
Pay: $75,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience

About the Role
The HVAC Service Manager oversees the day‑to‑day operations of our residential service department. You'll lead a team of skilled technicians, manage scheduling and workflow, provide technical support, and handle escalated customer needs. This role is ideal for someone who stays calm under pressure, enjoys mentoring others, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of residential HVAC service technicians
- Manage daily schedules, dispatching, and workflow to ensure efficient, on‑time service
- Provide hands‑on technical support and troubleshooting guidance in the field
- Resolve escalated service issues with professionalism and sound judgment
- Track performance metrics and coach technicians toward individual and team goals
- Uphold high standards for safety, workmanship, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with office staff, install teams, and sales for seamless communication
- Oversee service documentation, billing accuracy, and warranty claims
- Support ongoing training and development aligned with industry best practices
What You Bring
- 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience (or comparable industry experience)
- Hands‑on field experience strongly preferred
- At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong communication and people skills-you know how to coach and inspire
- Confident decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities
- Professional, customer‑first mindset
- Experience with service management software (FieldEdge, ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar)
